If I may add a suggestion, perhaps we could apply a penalty system. At the end of each mission, the GM will be evaluating the group's actions as if he was the director and give special rewards or penalties to the players depending on their action during the scenario. This is to minimize any unnecessary actions as much as possible. Just an idea.
You mean limit our characters' personality?
There are no "unnecessary" actions in a storytelling RP. Everything adds flavor to the story. Everyone has their own way of playing. Punishing someone with a different idea of fun is bad. Disruptive or rule-breaking actions won't follow through anyway.

Well it was just a suggestion. Considering our characters are members of an organization whose customers will provide feedback about the members which may cause detrimental effect to the image of the organization. The penalties would have been minimum of a monetary charge and maximum of demotion (For example, Investigator to Jr. Investigator).

Unnecessary actions would have included:
Excessive damage
Casualties and injuries to civilian human and pokemon

But nevermind then.

Mahaba ba yung GM Manual?

When you're eradicating evil, make sure you burn the town properly.

The GM Manual is short as fuck, 24 pages lang sya including unnecessary blank pages. Very Happy

The penalties thing is a pretty cool idea and makes a lot of sense. Maybe something to implement on a case by case basis, depending on the GM. Anyway, characters at Investigator rank are not "undercover" per se, they are the ones who maintain the "front" of Miracle Eye as being a simple Detective Agency. Kumbaga, they carry a special badge signifying that they are Miracle Eye investigators, so they're the ones who have to be the most careful when it comes to public image, avoiding civilian casualties and collateral damage, etc. Pag Agent rank, yun na yung undercover, best of the best, cloak-and-dagger shit that lets you get away with blowing up entire buildings in a highly populated area (basta valid yung reason).

ok yung case by case

wala naman yatang may balak pumatay ng civilians / sumira ng private property for no reason, kaya wala rin masyadong impact yung penalties

For the record, during the first mission, the one who did the destroying were the villains and gym leader.

During the second mission, the house had it coming.

Andrew: Let's burn it down. Do you concur?
Niccolo: That's terribly uncouth, but I concur.

I can't quite recall kung sino yung unang nagsuggest na sunugin yung bahay. Si Ralph ba? Basta parang may nagsuggest, tapos tinanong nila kung pwede, tapos sabi ko ok lang kasi apparently puno ng ghouls and other evil shit yung bahay. And also because it was hella funny.

Sure. I'm already thinking of ways how to make the investigation more suspenseful, a bit longer, and that much harder to challenge everyone's RP style and Pokemon Know-how while still trying keep things fair in terms of battle.

Also I'm thinking of additional scenarios so the line up would be more than 3 scenarios to choose from.

Kakugou shinasai!

As an additional info on one of my scenarios, specifically the Magnet Train scenario, it is advised for one of you to have a pokemon with an underwater movement capability.

Well I've already listed the three I've already completed. You are free to choose which one by voting or you guys can decide on it tomorrow.

Sinu-sino ba mga makakaunta tomorrow and what time?

As much as possible please have your pokemon line ups, moves sets (plus their corresponding dice roll patterns), stats, features and etc ready before we start tomorrow so we can finish early if ever.

does anyone need any preparations to be done where you need to have a discussion with the GM and/or other players? if so it'll be better we meet early. if everyone's good, after lunch then.

So how'd i do as a first time GM?

I do have to admit that i did not think the scenario through as hard as i thought i did.

It's not about how prepared you are. It's not even about the scenario.
It's about making the game fun.

Were the players smiling by the end of the game?
Yes? Then you were a good GM.

Naexcite ako sobra dun sa previous na laro natin, so I dearly hope na next time makakapaglaro uli ako. Smile BTW, dinagdagan ko nga pala yung Miracle Eye information thread, for future reference. Smile

I still have 2 other scenarios so we can use one of those.

GM Andrew, question! Dun sa mga reward items namin from the magnet train mission, pwede either our choice of TM or Held Item. Kung Held Item, limited lang ba kami dun sa mga Held Items na nakalagay dun sa handbook, or allowed ba kami ng sarili naming items (choice items, for example).

I say limit it only to those in the handbook please. If I allowed original held items then that would have to be evaluated since some ideas might come as overpowered.

Alright. Looks like Gus gets a Razor Claw, then. Smile

By the by, sino GM sa Sunday?

Also, I am having way too much fun making new Abilities, Capabilities, and Features that are "Mission Rewards".
