Biography/Life Story/Reason for joining the Tournament:

Born in the neighboring kingdom of Ible, Maukos Anzdoc was a master assassin whose martial arts skills were unparalleled. After graduating from the Ufra-Hasa Umbraculum, he very quickly gained fame and notoriety as the country's best killer-for-hire, getting the moniker of Viper Fist for his ability to kill with a single strike. Unfortunately, his insistence on working as a freelancer did not sit well with the Brotherhood of Shadows, the biggest assassin's guild in all of Ible, who felt that Anzdoc had the capability to break their monopoly on the assassination market. They therefore lured him into a trap and ambushed him with 100 of their best assassins. As testament to his skill, Anzdoc was able to kill 56 of the 100 before succumbing to a combination of poisons, blood loss, and half a dozen lethal wounds, including a broken spine, a broken neck, and two daggers lodged into his skull.

Unfortunately, the Brotherhood of Shadows forgot the Ufra-Hasa Umbraculum motto: Nulla vitae incelebris, nullam caedem inultam - No life uncelebrated, no death unavenged. Anzdoc's Umbraculum ClassMates learned of the plot at the last minute, and although they arrived too late to prevent his death (but not too late to slaughter the remaining 44 assassins), two of his close friends - the Espiritista Amiana Silat and the Song Mistress Arasia Rhym - were able to bind his soul within a Gem of Songs. Later on, Sagaxtus Bant (a Hermetic and also a ClassMate of Anzdoc) constructed a new body for Anzdoc made out of an extremely malleable and borderline indestructible clay-like substance. One soul transfer later, and Maukos Anzdoc the Viper Fist was reborn as Solomon Quisque, the shapeshifting, virtually unkillable Anthroparion. Maukos immediately took out his new body for a "test drive" by assassinating every single member of the Brotherhood of Shadows - Vengeance is a fundamental Umbraculum lesson, after all.

More recently, the Ufra-Hasa Umbraculum has called on its Alumni for aid: The Umbraculum's long-standing feud with rival academy Tre-Ys Collegium has taken a deadly turn, as Umbraculum's spies have confirmed the truth behind rumors of the Collegium's construction of a Black Hole Gate. One of the few items capable of pounding a Black Hole into oblivion is the God Piston, and Maukos has gladly volunteered to participate in the tournament and retrieve it.

Weapons (Max of 2, one primary, one secondary):
1. Golem Body - Even before he became Solomon, Maukos had no need for weapons, preferring to murderize his victims with his bare hands. This is now even more true, as his clay body can shift into whatever weapon he needs.

Items/Equipments (Max of 5):
1. Spirit Stone - Concealed somewhere within his body, this gift from Amiana Silat has been specially enchanted, so that if by some freak chance someone actually manages to destroy Solomon, Maukos' soul will be bound to the Stone, which will then be instantly teleported back to Amiana.

2. Bag of Holding - He has to have somewhere to put the God Piston in when he wins it. Can hold up a maximum of 20 items, regardless of size.

Powers/Abilities (max of 3):
1. Golem Body - Since he is made out of clay, Solomon can shape and reconfigure his body into any weapon of his choice or change his appearance to make himself look like anyone. The clay also makes him extremely hard to damage, as he can make the clay soft to absorb blunt-impact damage or rock-hard to deflect blades and other piercing weapons. The golem body also gives him limited super-strength and ridiculous levels of endurance.

2. Thousand Snakes Style - Maukos Anzdoc was a master of the Thousand Snakes Style of Martial Arts, and he retains that mastery even as a golem. The style relies on striking various points of the opponent's body to disable, cripple, and kill.

Strengths: He is made out of clay, so most physical attacks against him do him little to no harm. Super-strength, damage sponge, very fast movement and attack speed. Golem body also renders him immune to hunger, thirst, fatigue, and pain.

Weaknesses: He is made out of clay, so extreme heat will bake him and make him shatter-able while extreme cold will slow down his movements significantly. Also, no long-range attacks.

Biography/Life Story/Reason for joining the Tournament:

Sprawling beneath the ruins of the imperial capital Mercades-Saint Fey is the underground kingdom of K’jaaddbrk, home to the K’jaadd-- a race of intelligent insectoids. Hundreds of years ago, the white wizard Nelel was turned into a pulsating slob of biomass following his defeat at the hands of the immortal sorcerers Torrent and Balphagore. The dark brothers amassed an army of demons and undead and proceeded to ransack Mercades-Saint Fey, toppling the great ivory tower of Nelel.

But Nelel eventually regained limited human consciousness and used his remaining energy to grow into a more functional creature. After decades of consuming other life forms and leftover magical artifacts, he has rapidly evolved into the immense parasitic entity known to humans as the Lord of the Hive. Those who worshiped him as a deity were turned into the first generation of K’jaadd.

The K'jaadd built a vast underground kingdom, building beneath the cities they infest; moving from civilization to civilization, turning other creatures into organic slops for their young and converting structures into hive clusters. The K'jaadd have only one purpose: proliferation of their species.

Using insects as a massive intelligence network, the Lord of the Hive learned about King Malakhan's tournament and the boundless powers of the God Piston. A warrior that would represent the K'jaadd was plucked out of the swarms and reengineered by Nelel himself. Once the K'jaadd obtains the God Piston, the Lord of the Hive will consume its power and fully mobilize the Hive Fleets, wrapping the world in a slimy embrace.

The warrior Nemmik the Soulless was from the infiltrator broods of the Lictor. Nemmik served as the Lictor Alpha of Hive Fleet Ganthritor and was given command of the whole Fleet, along with partial autonomy from the Hivemind.


Weapons :

Primary:

Scything Talons - long, serrated bone saws that are capable of lightning-fast swipes and stabs. they are hard enough to slice through advanced metal alloys and are coated with corrosive, paralyzing venom

Secondary:

Laceration Coils - whip-like muscle fibers powered by huge amounts of kinetic energy. they are shot through wrist-mounted launchers and must be quickly retracted to cooldown. mid-range weapon


Items/Equipments (Max of 5):

1.Babelfish - a fishlike organ installed by the Lord of the Hive. acts as a universal translator so Nemmik can converse with other lifeforms

2.Vitriolic Sacs - constantly releases streams of deodorizing particles that hides the strong metallic scent of the K'jaadd's blood (the glistening oil)

Powers/Abilities (max of 3):

1. Ghostwalk - Lictors employ a variety of techniques to permanently remain hidden from enemy sight, even from the detection of modern technology. attacking breaks their invisibility though the ability only requires .5 seconds of fade time.

2. Void Gazer - the implanted compound eyes can switch between normal view, infrared, night vision, and a binocular function that can zoom in up to eight times

3. Feeder Tendrils - Nemmik can feed on the brains of other creatures and absorb all their thoughts and memories, even dreams that they had 4 weeks ago.

Strengths:

1. Virtually undetectable and can strike at prey multiple times before they can even react
2. Highly mobile despite the massive frame
3. Can think with human intelligence but has none of their ability to feel pain and express emotions
4. Can learn more about the dungeon through the consumption of brains

Weaknesses:

1. Weak against offensive AOE magic and without magic attacks of his own, may be caught helpless against noncorporeal foes
2. Being a Lictor, Nemmik does not have the extreme defenses of the Swarm Lords. He has low resistance to crushing attacks (though cutting weapons usually slide away on the exoskeleton).
3. Cannot regenerate quickly from severe injuries.
4. He is susceptible to psychic assaults since he was given partial autonomy from the Hivemind's synaptic link.

Biography/Life Story/Reason for joining the Tournament:

One of the youngest Arch Demonesses of all time, Jaahi is one of Hell's strongest warriors. She has been sent by the Infernal Kingdom to retrieve and destroy the God Piston before anyone can use it to tip the balance in the eternal struggle between Heaven and Hell.

Weapons (Max of 2, one primary, one secondary):
1.Shaitan - Known as "The Adversary", this Hell-forged battle pitchfork is Jaahi's primary weapon. Aside from being impossible to break with normal means, Shaitan also has a Infernal mode that allows Jaahi to remove a target's soul upon piercing and then send the soul straight to Hell. Jaahi can also channel her pyrokinetic powers through Shaitan, allowing her to launch fireballs.

2. Devil claws/Devil Wings - Should Jaahi ever be disarmed, she can use her sharp claws and wing edges to slash at her enemies. Both claws and wing tips exude a poison that is deadly to normal humans.

Items/Equipments (Max of 5)
1. Hades Necklace - A mark of Jaahi's station, this allows her to reduce damage taken from Holy attacks. Also allows a measure of protection from being forcibly banished back to Hell.

2. Baal's Boots - From Mefisto Accessories, these boots are both fashionable and functional, letting her remain invisible as long as she stands in the shadows.

3. Nicky's Flask - Anybody who drinks from this flask will be trapped inside it until Jaahi lets them out.


Powers/Abilities (max of 3):
1.Demonblood - As a creature of the Infernal Regions, Jaahi possesses far greater strength, speed, and durability than normal mortals, as well as having wings that allow her limited flight. She has the strength of twenty men, can move as fast as 40mph in short bursts, and can shrug off blows that would kill a normal human being instantly. Her infernal blood also gives her advanced regeneration, and renders her immune to all dark-type and fire-type magics at the cost of being extremely vulnerable to holy magic.

2.Pyrokinetic - The ability to generate and control fire is something even the lesser citizens of the Infernal Kingdom can perform with ease. Higher-ranked demons can even generate and control a stronger flame called Hellfire, which burns so hot that the target's soul is scorched.

3.Hell Summoning - Her status as an Arch Demoness allows Jaahi to summon certain creatures from Hell by sacrificing a portion of her own Infernal Energy. However, since this is not a skill that she uses often, she can only summon non-sentients (Hell hounds, mares, bats, etc.). The strongest creature she can summon is a Cerberus.

Strengths: Superhuman strength, speed, durability. Limited flight and regen. Pyrokinetic. Immunity to fire-type and dark-type magics and attacks. Summoning abilities. Highly-skilled melee fighter.

Weaknesses: Extremely weak against Holy Attacks. Susceptible to forced banishment back to Hell. Susceptible to mental attacks. Limited ranged-type attack.

Turn order is by character, not by player. This is to make the RP more active, as well as to avoid confusion and tl;dr posts. On posting, please be sure to place your character name on the first line of your post.

Traveling from room to room is made more exciting by the Creeps. Every corridor contains a Creep. Creeps may be classified as Strong, Powerful, Eldritch, and Armageddon. Strong Creeps take one turn to kill and can be killed upon encounter. Powerful Creeps take two turns to kill, Eldritch Creeps take three, Armageddon Creeps take four or more. All Creeps will drop one (1) item upon death, the value of which will depend on the Creep level. Creep description, strength, and weakness will be posted here in the signups, along with the minimum/maximum amount of damage your character should take after the encounter (all characters start with 0% damage, upon reaching 100%, your character will die in their next Creep/PC encounter). Only Eldritch and Armageddon Creeps have the ability to kill Participants, unless your Participant is a weak-ass pussy *coughSebastiancough* in which case even Strong Creeps might kill you. Also, you cannot enter any room as long as the corridor you are in contains a creep - you must defeat the creep to advance.

When your Participant enters a room, all exits/entrances will disappear and you will be forced to do battle with the current room occupant which will be either a Tournament Participant or an Armageddon Creep. If the occupant is a PC, contact the player responsible for that character to determine which one of you will die/be defeated. There are 23 rooms, with 13 of those currently occupied by PC characters. The character:player ratio so far is thus:

Duane: 3
Emilzen: 2
Raffy: 1
Niccolo: 1
Albert: 2
Baste: 1

We have 10 PC slots remaining, to be distributed thus:
Raffy, Niccolo, Baste - 2 more characters
Emilzen, Albert - 1 more character
Andrew, Duane - no more characters

The last 2 characters are the "final bosses"- Semi-Godmod characters residing in Room 22 and Room 23. Room 22 will only open for characters with 10 or more Creep Kills and 5 or more Player Kills. Room 23 is sealed; the Last Character Standing will be warped to this room to fight the Final Boss.

Questions, comments, and violent reactions will be entertained in the Sign-ups thread.

If you don't mind, I change my post so that I finished the Gug in one turn. I misread the defeat terms and I thought Strong ones can only be beaten in 2 or more rounds.
