It was the morning of the sixth day of Luke’s training and the sky was clear and the sun was shining brightly. With the Goldeens and Seaking defeated, Luke, Magnes and Makuhita released the Caterpie which was visibly happy now that it was not in danger of drowning anymore. The Caterpie crawled away into the bushes. Luke’s party decided to rest until the afternoon. They ate lunch, took a nap, helped both pokemon and trainers alike, and looked for any signs of trouble while they waited. Time passed by and before they know it, it was already 3pm. Luke went back to looking for opponents near the lake.

After the battle with the Psyducks and Golduck, Luke ordered Makuhita and TItan to carry the unconscious pokemon to their camp so they can rest peacefully until they regain their consciousness. It would also give him and his pokemon ample time to rest while keeping an eye on the four. By the time the Psyducks and Golduck woke up it was already night time. They thank Luke and his party for the match and apologized for keeping them out this late which was really no trouble at all. After the four left, Luke went back to the pond once more.

One week into Luke’s training and the trainer seems to be quite impressed on his progress. Now he is seen walking through the woods of Route 36. Upon return to Violet City, Luke passed by the Pokemon Center to get his pokemon healed. After that, he accessed his storage space and deposited Kuro and Riptide and withdrew Jessy, his Flareon, and Blurr, one of his new newly captured Eevee.

He then head towards his apartment near Sprout Tower. He went to the vacant room in his apartment and took out both Jessy and Blurr so they can meet considering that they came from the same lineage. Jessy seemed excited to meet someone like while Blurr seems hesitant and shy since he's just a new addition to the team. With a little encouragement, Blurr started talking to Jessy. After a while, Luke was ready to feed his pokemon but notices that Jessy and Blurr have not yet come out of the room.

Upon checking up on them, the two seem to be in a riveting conversation. Luke made his presence known and left them food for them in the room and left the door slightly open so they can come out when they want to. Luke left to feed his other pokemon.

When bedtime came, Luke checked up on them once more and saw that the two were playing around happily. Luke told them to keep the noise to the minimum and they both said yes. With that, Luke left them alone and went to sleep in his room.
